Street Kings Surinam Tour (July 2011).

We traveled to Paramaribo, Surinam to promote the beautiful game of street football. We attended many events and played numerous matches on this tour. This episode is 1 day / 2 promo events for KLM where we went into the neighborhoods to check the skills and challenge the “best” local players. There are some very talented street football players in Surinam but we all know that Street Kings run things. The local players have gotten a lot better since our first tour here years ago. Shouts out to “Pinto” you are Streetball Boss famo and Big up to everyone that came out to support us! Keep ballin’… This is only a taste, more coming soon….

Our Mother company closed a deal for this format in 2010. Its a joint venture between Galleon Holdings PLC, Chelsea Football Club and ourselves for Columbia, South America. We have been busy with the planning for months are looking forward to the “official” launch of the project.

The Format
Super Soccer Star is produced in association with Chelsea Football Club, It’s a global multi-platform entertainment property to find the best soccer players between 13 and 17 years old from around the world and offer them a shot at the ultimate prize – a chance to play for Chelsea FC in the English Premiere League.

Featuring top football stars, celebrity guests, and an incredible trip to London, Super Soccer Star is a highly aspirational property that offers entertainment for the entire family.

The program has successfully aired in China and Malaysia and is returning for season two in those markets and is expanding to additional countries, including the US.

It’s a TV Show. The episodes will follow an intense and dramatic series of tests, challenges, and life-changing experiences for a group of young soccer players giving their all to get a chance to
play for Chelsea.

It’s Participatory Media. Fans at home will be involved with the show – more than just casting their votes. Fans can play along with the on-screen action for chances to win Chelsea, EPL, and sponsor merchandise. Weekly competitions identify the Super Fans. One fan will win an English Premier League trip to London!

It’s Definitely Interactive. The website will serve as the ultimate Super Soccer Star destination. It will have series, episode, and player information, but so much more. The site will include casual games, audience competitions, blogs, unseen footage, skills videos and online clinics, and online voting.

Streetballer vs Freestyler Part 1, Edward van Gils & Issy Hitman

While touring the USA July 2009, I was lucky enough to capture this exclusive interview with street football legends Edward van Gils and Issy Hitman on Coney Island, New York City. They had been receiving a lot of messages and checking comments on some of the YouTube movies.

They were constantly being referred to as freestylers and this quote is coming from their own mouths “WE are NOT Freestylers”. Well this is them officially clearing the air once and for all with their definition on the difference between a freestyler and a street baller.

NO this is not HATE they love every aspect of the movement… just clearing the air.

What do you think? hmmm….

Que Pasa is a party in Amsterdam. Started in 2002 Que Pasa evolved from a “Manu Chao” like Patchanka party to a full on “Mestizo” (mix of) party. Not your regular Latin party: it mixes all sorts of styles like Ska, Pop, Rock, Cumbia, Hiphop fused with just a tip of Salsa/Merengue,etc

They asked us to make a promo for them.
